Management Certification Series
The Professional Management Certification (PMC) Series (Level I &
II) is a core certification program of the American Certification Institute.
This program offers the designation of CMP-I and CPM-II, to candidates who
demonstrate their understanding of the fundamentals of the management
profession through the successful completion of rigorous professional
certification examination based upon the INTERNATIONAL
PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT BODY OF KNOWLEDGE. (IPMBOK).

(Candidates who have obtained CMP-I are exempted from taking
Module 2 & 7)
Examination form and format
Exam questions for Levels
I and II are multiple-choice. The multiple choice examinations include
questions relating to definitions, understandings of concepts, discussion of
the relative merits of various issues, as well as development of approaches to
conduct for examinations
The specific rules pertaining to the
conduct of the examinations are printed on the front of the examination book.
Read them carefully before answering the first question. Candidates are
expected to exercise honest and ethical behavior during the exams.
Each module can be from 1 to 3 days
in length and is generally taught on successive weekends (Sunday).or scheduled
night classes over weekdays.
For CMP-I (LEVEL I): i. Minimum Diploma in any
field of study and
ii. Minimum 2 years working
experience in Supervisory Level
or iii. At least 5 years working experience
as a supervisor or as a 1st line manager
For CPM ¨CII (LEVEL II): i. Minimum Diploma or Degree in any field of study and
ii. Minimum 5 years of working
experience as a 1st Line Manager/supervisor
or iii. Minimum
5 years working experience as a manager
